TORREVIEJA
Torrevieja es una ciudad y municipio costero situado en la Costa Blanca en la provincia de Alacant , en el sur del País Valenciano.
Torrevieja se encuentra a unos 50 kilómetros al sur de la ciudad de Alacant y tenía una población de 105.000 habitantes (2012). Torrevieja fue originalmente un pueblo de pescadores y mineros de sal, ya que se encuentra entre el mar y dos grandes lagos salados (Las Salinas), que le dan a Torrevieja un microclima saludable.

Torrevieja is a seaside city and municipality located on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alacant, in south Valencian Country. Torrevieja lies about 50 kilometres south of the city of Alacant and had a population of 105,000 (2012). Torrevieja was originally a salt-mining and fishing village as it is located between the sea and two large salt lakes (Las Salinas), which give Torrevieja healthy microclimate.

The “S-61 Delfin” Submarine. A peace, culture and community union ship expressing the depth of our sailor roots. The Delfin is a Daphne class submarine given by the Spanish army to the Torrevieja’s Council, thus becoming the “first floating museum” of its type in our country.
The Marina Internacional de Torrevieja, a large marina on the outskirts of the city, is able to hold around 859 yachts with lengths up to 30m.
